Projekt “Cultural Bridges: Exploring Intercultural Interaction Across Europe” okuplja učenike iz Turske, Rumunjske, Hrvatske, Italije, Španjolske i Poljske kako bi otkrili bogatstvo europskih kultura i poticali međukulturni dijalog kroz suradnju i kreativnost. Projekt je započeo u studenom 2025. Tijekom triju mjeseci, učenici u dobi od 11 do 15 godina istraživat će tradiciju, svakodnevni život i kulturne vrijednosti svojih partnera. Kroz razne interaktivne online aktivnosti razmjenjivat će
ideje, pripremati digitalne prezentacije, dijeliti informacije o glazbi, hrani i običajima te sudjelovati u raspravama o sličnostima i razlikama među svojim kulturama.

Integrating the Project into the Curriculum
The Cultural Bridges project is designed to support and enrich the existing curriculum of all partner schools by linking activities to core subjects, key competencies, and national learning objectives.
1. Foreign Language (English) Curriculum
Students practice real-life communication in English through messages, meetings, and collaborative tasks.
They produce posters, presentations, videos, and written texts aligned with speaking, writing, listening, and reading outcomes.
Interactions with international peers help reinforce communicative competence and vocabulary development.
2. Social Studies / Citizenship Education
Students explore cultural diversity, traditions, values, and daily life in European countries.
The project supports themes such as identity, democracy, tolerance, respect, and global citizenship.
Activities help students better understand European heritage and multicultural understanding.
3. ICT / Digital Literacy
Students use Web 2.0 tools (Canva, Padlet, BookCreator, StoryJumper, Kahoot, etc.) to create digital content.
The project supports ICT curriculum targets including online collaboration, digital safety, information research, and responsible digital behavior.
4. Art & Design
Students design posters, visual stories, cultural cards, and magazine pages.
They explore creative digital expression and visual storytelling, supporting visual arts competencies.
5. Geography
Students learn about partner countries’ locations, climates, foods, lifestyles, and cultural landscapes.
Mapping and comparison activities align with geographical inquiry skills.
6. History
Students explore traditions, historical celebrations, cultural symbols, and heritage buildings.
This supports curriculum outcomes related to historical understanding and cultural heritage.
7. Music & Drama
Students learn and share cultural songs, national music styles, dances, and performances.
This enriches performing arts learning outcomes.
8. Life Skills / Personal Development
The project builds teamwork, communication, creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
Activities encourage respect, empathy, and confidence in intercultural interactions.
Cross-Curricular Competencies Developed
